My husband and I have been to NYC several times before, but we had never gone on any sort of guided tour, and we figured it was about time. Andy did not disappoint -- he took us places we might not have explored on our own and told us things that we never would have learned from any guide book. As a native New Yorker, he is really up on what is in and what is not; very knowledgeable about the food scene, which is, of course, extremely diverse. He showed us some really obscure, idiosyncratic sights, including the 2 Waverly Places in the West Village and Colonel Tom Thumb's house. Oh, also the Physical Grafitti building. Very cool. We highly recommend this tour service, which can be tailored to special requests, or you can just let Andy lead the way and he will take excellent care of you.

After aimlessly looking for the best way to see New York, I finally found Total Access. Coming to New York City for the first time can be a daunting and overwhelming experience, but with Andy, my family and I felt nothing more than comfortable. We cannot stop talking about the great time we had with him. Although we had never met, he felt like family. My mother is at an age where she cannot walk too long for extended hours, but Andy was the perfect gentleman. It was a fun adventure and we covered a lot of ground in eight hours. We learned how to hail a cab, take the subway; you will feel like a New Yorker instead of a tourist following those guides marching with a headset and a big orange flag yelling "This way folks!" My family and I love food, so he showed us a few of the many hot spots that have food to melt your heart like the must have banana pudding from Magnolia's. Without his help, we would have wandered the city without the slightest clue of where to go. We will never forget the great time we had in NYC. The next time we visit, we are getting Total Access because there is no other better way to see the city.

You cannot beat Andy for flexibility, information and personality. He rolled with everything we threw at him including delayed flights, people in our group that didn't speak english and due to our flight delay, touring into the late night!

This is the kind of tour where you have to do it a few times to absorb everything coming out of Andy's mouth!!

I will be back to NYC and I will tour again with Total Access!

We wanted to see as much of New York as we could...what we got was that and much more. Andy is all of those things that you want in a guide: knowledgeable, personable, attentive, fun. He customized our tour based around what we had and hadn't seen, and we saw more than we ever thought we would. Even better than the sites were the stories Andy had that gave the true feel of New York...the history, the "tidbits", the people/food/fashion...it was not just a tour, it was an EXPERIENCE. There is a difference between someone who is a tourguide as a job and someone who is truly passionate about what they do...it is obvious that Andy's job is also his hobby, and his passion made the experience exciting for us.
We saw the skyscrapers, had beer at McSorley's, saw celebrity haunts and move/TV film locations, hit Rockefeller Center, Greenwich Village, highland, Battery Park...saw the site of the picture for Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, etc, etc, etc!
We very highly recommend this tour...Andy is the man!

Great, great, great private all-day tour! As great as the city is so was our guide, Andy. Amazing knowledge shared throughout the entire day. We saw parts of the city we would have never seen without Andy taking us there. Tried many different NYC foods that only a lifetime local like Andy would know about. Amazing, amazing day!!!
