“Chocolate Croissants”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

Stopped by here and bought 2 chocolate croissants and a ham and cheese croissants. As expected, it was fairly expensive. I ate my croissant room temp and it was chewy and gummy, not at all flaky. My husband warmed his up and said it was flakier. I wouldn't go out of my way to try again

“Best viennoiseries in town”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

I went last week to the Flatiron branch for a quick bite but was disappointed with the croque madame. It did not taste as good as it looked. Service was very quick and efficient, though, I was in-out in 25 minutes. They have a friendly staff at the take-out counter with a wide variety of pastries and baked goods. The pastries had mixed reviews at home, the Saint Honore was great but the Paris-Brest and pistachio eclairs were just so-so. Their viennoiseries were the winners, their baguettes aux cereales and croissants were the best we've had so far.

“Typicall French in aGood way”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

The bread is fabulous. This is a French dining experience based on a limited menu of typically French food. We love their soups and the quiche is very good.

“Yum-O”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

During our five days in NYC, we ate breakfast here four times. Well, to be fair, we ate here only once. The other times we bought breads and pastries and took them to the nearby Central Park. It's a small place that never seems full, but the food is outstanding! Grab some unsalted butter, Olive and Gruyere or Herbs de Provence bread sticks, a Plies au Chocolate (sp), a coffee drink and head to the Park.
