Situated about 5-10 minutes walk from The Bowery or Delancey Street on the Subway, Hojo is a friendly and relaxed place to stay. Room was a decent enough size, good shower, TV, safe and coffee making facility in room, heating worked great which helped as it was pretty cold outside, and the bed was really comfy resulting in a great sleep after a long flight. Assisted by several cold ones enjoyed in an excellent bar on the corner of Broome Street and Bowery specialising in draught beers. Superb. Check it out - great grub too. Toiletries replenished daily, and staff really helpful with directions to various places, even printing maps out for me as they had run out of the fold-up type. Only minor things if I'm being picky were the paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast which was served in the foyer and can get busy as there are only 3 tables. Timing is everything. Get there early enough and have a cuppa with 2 rounds of toast and watch Chinatown spring to life. There aren't many hotels I've looked forward to returning to after a days sightseeing but this is one of them.
