We recently stayed at the Wyndham and decided to have a quick early breakfast before traveling out to meet friends for brunch, since we have kids and they're always hungry.
We walked into the EMPTY restaurant and asked for a high chair for our 15 month old, which we were told was not available. Initially this was fine (hey it's NYC and they don't exist there), so we asked to sit in a booth so he could sit upright. We were then told we could not sit in a booth because that section was CLOSED. The place was EMPTY. When we asked for a manager, we were told he was not in that early, so we discussed the situation with our hotel right next door, who was graciously over-accommodating and provided us with 4 comped breakfasts.
After making us feel somewhat better, we proceeded to actually eat the food. We came across stale bread, cheese with hard edges, but hey at least the coffee was hot and they had warm milk!
We would definitely not visit this place again.
