The good: Nice big shower and comfortable bed. Free wifi. Close to Grand Central/subway, and pretty quiet at nigh for the outside (we could hear people going in and out of their room in the morning but not that disturbed).
Otherwise: room is not huge with no closet, just a small wardrobe for hanging clothes and a dresser. We were there for a long weekend so that was not a problem for us. As some other reviewers already mentioned, breakfast room could not accommodate all the guests so we went to a diner closeby the first morning, grabbed food and brought back to our room the next day.
There are some Japanese restaurants nearby that look pretty good based on online reviews but we did not try them, maybe next time. Overall, if we could get the same rate with our AAA discount (~170 before taxes), we would stay there again.
