“Original features, quirky and quaint”

I stayed here with my Dad and my two teenage boys recently, we stayed for four nights in total.
We had a fabulous time, the apartment has so many original features and it really does feel like you are getting your own slice of original NYC.
Everything was working fine and the beds were comfy, Kira even left us a bottle of wine.
The place was spotless. We felt so welcome.
There is no lift and it's five floors up, but even I managed and my sons bounded up with no problem.
I would say four adults is a comfortable squeeze, you have to know each other well and keep tidy, or you may feel cramped, I had to nag my two to pick up after themselves, that said, I would choose this apartment again over any hotel room. The area of Greenwich Village is superb, vibrant and cosmopolitan, think Old Compton St with some Notting Hill and Latimer Road thrown in. It's not quiet! - if you are after solitude, don't go there, actually don't bother with NYC, it truly doesn't sleep! - which means you might not either. If you want to be in the centre of everything, with plenty of restaurants, nightlife, near the subway and surrounded by BoHo chic, please choose this apartment and you won't go far wrong. We hope to come back again!!

“Charming apartment - conveniently located”

We had five days to spend in NY and found this appartment on Trip Advisor. It's really charming and nicely decorated with plants and self painted pictures. The kitchen is equipped with all you need for the basics. The bathroom does not have a washing basin so you have to use the one in the kitchen which did not bother us though. The location is very convenient as it is close to the express subway stop W 4 street which leeds you quickly almost everywhere to the main touristic spots. The quarter itself is full of little cafes, bakeries and reputated restaurants. That does also mean that sometimes it can be a bit noisy in this area. Nonetheless I can highly recommend this place and will definately book it again for the next trip to NY.

“charming quirky apartment in a great location”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

four of us stayed here for four nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location, right in Greenwich Village, good shops and restaurants, and on several subway lines. The place was clean and bright, the beds really comfortable. Bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, with no sink, but perfectly manageable. The owner, Kira, was very helpful and flexible about meeting us for our late arrival. Would definitely recommend.

“LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION”
Reviewed 18 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We were 4 adults and it was possibly slightly smaller than we expected, but it is a lovely apartment with everything that we could have needed and is situated in the heart of Greenwich Village which is a fab place to stay with shops, restaurants and cafes on the street and the metro, many more wonderful restaurants and jazz venues within easy walking distance. Kira was lovely and helpful and we are fitter than when we started with strong legs from the stairs.

“Location, location, location”
Reviewed 23 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We (my two kids 14 & 13 and I) had a great stay in Kira's apartment which was perfect for us, small but right in the heart of West Village it gave us enough space to relax at the end of the day. We each had separate -comfortable -beds and the the boys had their own room. It was freezing when we visited literally below 0 degrees C the entire time - dropping to -16 but Kira's apartment was lovely and warm. My kids loved the wifi and the kitchen had all we needed. The bathroom was small - but adequate. The apartment is tucked away behind Bleecker St with its arty shops and restaurants. The W4 subway literally 5 mins away (with E trains to JFK) Couldn't have asked for more - thank you Kira
