Popped in with 6, and very pleased. It's worth
Letting your host help on the Greek wines on the list. And don't be bashful about asking questions about the menu. The staff is knowledgable and enthusiastic.
We started with a couple of appetizers. Spanakopita is a delight. The squid was a bit confused with its ricotta stuffing.
Fresh seafood - really fresh- means sometimes having to say you 're sorry, we're out of that. It's s good sign to me, and everyone picked from the choices available. Interestingly, some selections are ordered by the pound, so two or three can share the main course.
The dessert, a lavender mousse with pineapple slices was sublime.
If your in the mood for something unpretentious, a bit adventurous, and get the white linen treatment, this is worth the price.

We were staying across the road and were able to get in at short notice. It's fairly new on the scene. We had two appetizers to share and a glass of wine and it was $100 with tip. Too pricey.

Watched this restaurant as it was under construction with no idea as to cuisine. Finally opened and not a disappointment in any way. Decor and ambiance wonderful and food a great mix of Greek and Mediterranean options for all tastes. Appetizers were great and the spankatopia was superb. Wait staff was helpful and attentive and dinner was great. We were too full to try any desserts and I do wish the wine list was a bit broader both in options and price but all in all, we will go back and try lunch next time.

i recently ventured into Nerai. i was meeting friends who were visiting from Puerto Rico. it is in the former Oceana space which was an institution in NYC. As soon as i walked in I felt at home. And there was Antonio! my old friend from Ammos, another greek restaurant on Vanderbilt near Grand Central! It's definitely pricey but its worth it for a great meal in a greta atmosphere
