“Great food and a fun atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2012

We turned up on spec as you cant pre-book but we knew that as the previous reviews had said. The place was rammed with diners and the wait was going to be 20 mins. George the manager sent us to the bar next door and we chilled out with a couple of great wheat beers and he came back and got us when the table was ready.
The food wad very good and the value and service brilliant I would recommend it. The only draw back could be the noise levels and the place is very small so if you want it quiet and romantic then this isnt the place.

However if you want a real feel for New York then its a must , the only thing to remember is that its a cash only venue.

Over all a great night.

Nice and at a reasonable price. A lot of people. To many tables. But delicious food. No reservations but you can wait in the pub next door. They fetch you when à table is ready

“Ridiculously phenomenal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2012

This place is a little hidden locals spot at the far end of Bleecker Street. Amazing food. The kindest owner and waitstaff. Cash only. Mussels are delish, as well as the crispy artichokes, house red wine, gorgonzola gnocchi, and the desserts. The next time I am in NYC, I will be back. Oh yeah, and they don't take reservations, so line up early. They will let you go next door for a drink while you wait and then retrieve you when your table is ready.

“Quite simply "FANTASTIC"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

My wife and I went to New York on Holiday in February and Biancas was recommended to us by a work colleague here in England. She told us we had to go but go early. We went on the second night of our holiday which was a Friday. The hospitality was second to none, the atmosphere was superb and it was good to see families enjoying themselves but above all the food and the service was excellent. My Lasagne is the best I have ever had and my wife's tagliatella was in her words superb so full of flavour. The dessert we had was cheesecake in a lemon light sauce brilliant. The staff are wonderful, the food brilliant and so reasonable in price. Great recommendation, great food, GREAT PLACE. Go there. It was so good we went again on our last night same again superb.

“Simple, fun, always good, & very reasonable.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2012

I've never had a bad meal at this go to spot off the Bowery. Bianca has a fun vibe, it's always busy and worth the wait if you have to. The food is fresh, simply prepared and very good, the wine list Italian and ridiculously reasonable. Get the artichokes, and the chicken livers to start. No credit cards are accepted and the result of that is pastas for $9.50, unheard of in NYC.
