Uncle Nick's on 9th Avenue is a pre-theatre gem. We had huge, delicious Greek salads and a huge mixed appetizer plate loaded with Feta cheese, pita bread, tzatziki, taramosalata, grape leaves, olives, grilled octopus, kaftedes and more. (The whole purpose was not to fill up too much before hitting the theatre scene that night, but I don't know if we truly succeeded!) With drinks, the two of us got out of there for something like $30. Service was great, food was great, and we made our curtain. I don't think you can ask for much more.
