We went here with a Groupon for the pre-theatre dinner meal earlier this week. The main thing we loved about this place was the host. I wish I had gotten his name. He was the epitome of graciousness and professionalism in handling our reservation and seating us at the most perfect table in the place. We later dealt with him again when he had to adjust our bill for the Groupon, which he handled flawlessly. The atmosphere is very charming and historic. Very intimate and perfect for a nice evening out. The all-male wait staff were very attentive. They seem to work as a team as we had about 3 different servers all helping take care of us throughout the night. My only issue with them was having to ask them to move the meal along, as they waited too long between courses to bring the next one and took a while to get the check, and we were in a hurry to not be late to the show we were attending afterward. So I would suggest to them to be mindful of the time with people who order the pre-theatre dinner (or at least ask them if they have a show to be at), as they likely have a time frame to stick to. The food wasn't bad. My boyfriend had the clam chowder and salmon and said he really enjoyed both. I had the salad and parmesan-crusted chicken, which really seemed more to me like two plain thin-cut pieces of breaded chicken that could've come from your grocer's freezer, but it wasn't bad. We both enjoyed cheesecake afterward. Overall this is a good place to go if you have a good deal like we did with the Groupon, but I wouldn't pay the regular price for the meals here.
