Things started nicely. We were offered a table outside - hard to find in New York. But we stayed inside. My main complaint - perhaps something others will like - the food AND bill came much too fast. Our 2nd course came while we were half way through the first. The food was edible but nothing much - both courses were the special. Nothing special about them. Then the check came. Fortunately we did not bring overcoats or I have no doubt they would have brought them too - and this while many tables were empty. The waitstaff showed zero awareness of our pace. And - again - the food was just average. 2 courses with espresso and tip - $120. There are lots of alternatives for what used to be a good restaurant.
