Description: Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.

“If you want great Italian cooking, come here..”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

I have been going to Felidia for 15 years, ever since my wife introduced me to her wonderful cooking. I have eaten the Risotto with Truffles to her outstanding Veal shank, and have loved each and every bite. Make your reservations well in advance as it is hard to get into.. Enjoy..

“Delicious food fair price”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

It was our wedding anniversary and also the day that we should go back home.
A friend of mine had indicated Felidia and I decided to make a lunch reservation.
It was awesome.
We ask for the taste menu and it was flawless.
The place is really nice and the price is fair.

“Off the tourist track, just off the tram, but absolutely on great dining. ”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

On a sweltering day in NYC we walked along Roosevelt Island cherry tree shaded promenade far away from the tourist crowds on Broadway. But when it was time for lunch Roosevelt Island didn't seem to offer much. OpenTable showed a nice place just at the foot of the Roosevelt Island tram but didn't indicate the size of the place. I was wary, having just been trapped in a big tourist-land rip-off in midtown. But Lidia Bastianich brownstone was our perfect kind of small high quality restaurant with an imaginative menu from a world & TV famous family of chefs. We had the $26.95 prix fixe lunch with pâté, beet carpaccio - perfect-, grilled chicken on spinach -ok- and salmon -done perfectly. For the 3rd course I had a pear "tart" that was more like a crepe but delicious none the less.

“If your taste buds could talk, they would beg for Felidia's”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Warning: you should know that if you order the pear and pecorino cheese ravioli, all other ravioli you eat in your lifetime will disappoint you. Yeah, it's that good. Best sommelier we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Let the uber-charming Ms. Kelly pick your wine and you won't be disappointed. Felidia's is a must if you're in New York.

“Nice atmosphere and service, food a bit disappointing”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

First time visit, nice bustly restaurant but plenty of space. Efficient service but food a bit disappointing - pasta special had grit in it - so inedible. They apologised and took off bill. Main course of veal not very tasty and very small. Overall very expensive, check price of specials before ordering! $600 for 2 with just 1 appetiser and 2 mains with about half wine/cocktails.
