“Alot on Mott”
Reviewed 14 December 2013

I had the Veal Parm with Linguini and took home about a third of the very generous serving of veal. This may have been due to first sharing the very good hot antipasta. The veal was delicious, but the red medium sauce on the pasta tasted like it came from a jar--not good! My companions had the rigattoni with broccolirabe and sausage. They commented the sausage tasted like frankfutters--not good! The service was excellent.

“The medium sauce is the best”
Reviewed 13 December 2013

If you are in Little Italy, this place has the best pasta sauce. Try the baked ziti or rigatoni with the medium sauce. Actually, try anything with the medium sauce. So good.

“Off the beaten path of mulberry st”
Reviewed 10 October 2013 via mobile

Omg I made it to The Original vincents. There is so much history here and you can taste it in the food. Decided to stop by for lunch and here are my findings. A lil disappointed in the house salad and the dressing. Way different then the Vincents outpost in Long Island. Now to the bread again not the soft bread I am use to getting at the other vincents . I'm starting to think everything is different. The bread was your typical Italian bread with sesame seeds and butter. Ordered bruschetta which was really good and is a must to try. Now comes the baked ziti w/medium sauce. This made my day. Main course was great. This is a must to do when in lil Italy

“Little Italian food quality for the price in Little Italy”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

I was quite disappointed in our visit at this classic and famous Italian Restaurant. May be the reason of the poor food and service quality was that it was the last evening of the San Gennaro Feast at Little Italy and may be this was the re . Some of the dishes of the menu were sold out, the white wine was served warm, the olive oil for the salad had nothing to do with the good and tasty Italian Olive Oil, The prices too expensive for the food what you get. The waiter was very kind and this saved the dinner.

“Delicious food, friendly staff, great prices and air conditioning!”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

This past week it was near 90 degrees in NYC and my mom and I went to the Original Vincents in Little Italy for dinner. My Mom said the garlic and oil was the best she ever had and I loved that they let you try the mild, medium and hot red sauce before you go in. I had the chicken parm. It was pounded flat just as it supposed to be served. The food was plentiful and delicious. It was served fast. The bread was even good. They also had air conditioning was very much welcomed, but you can eat outside as well. The desserts are delicious as well. I got mine to go. Will definitely seek Vincents out again the next time I am in Little Italy in NYC.
