The food was great but the waiters hovered too much and didn't speak english. Looked like a ballroom and they seemed confused when we arrived. The food, however, was really good.

Loved this place for a Sunday brunch Dim Sum! Crowded but we had no wait and there was plenty of choices even with our coming towards the later end ( 2:30 PM). Loved the shrimp dumplings with and without vegetables. The shumai were amazing. Our Asian dining companions recommended getting the bok choy at the buffet rather than from the carts as it would be hotter. It was only warm but still delicious and most everything else was piping hot. We had wanted to go to Grand Harmony but they said we came too late and they were setting up for a private party so we were very pleased to find this alternative which was as good or even better than I remembered Grand Harmony to be.

Still huge, still packed during peak hours, and still yummy! Tons of large groups go here, but we had no wait for a party of two at lunch time on a weekday. We did share a large round table with one other group of 3.

The servers push selections of dim sum on carts so you can see what you are ordering. This is great if you don't remember the names for everything, or if you simply like to be adventurous without going in completely blind. Portions are American sized and meaty, compared to their Hong Kong equivalents. I personally liked their shrimp dumplings (har gow) best, the meat dumplings (siu mei) are also excellent, as are the deep fried pork in airy rice flour puffs (no clue as to the Cantonese name). The sweet tofu (tofu fa) was okay, could have used more ginger flavoring, and we tried a random colorful jello dessert (average). Total bill came to $15 for two.

We had a good dim sum brunch on a recent Sunday morning and really enjoyed ourselves. It's your typical authentic Chinese dim sum place - very large hall, lots of reds and golds, plenty of carts to keep you busy. The service was good, we'd go there again.
