Loved all the food and service was outstanding. Get the linguini with white clam sauce - delish! Wood oven pizza so good! Nothing to complain about except I wish they had a restaurant in Nova Scotia!

“Wood oven pizza was delicious.”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

After a morning touring Chinatown and Little Italy we were looking for a nice spot to eat lunch. There are many places to choose from, and we selected this restaurant based on their claim they had the "best wood oven pizza in the world".

Well, it wasn't the best…but it was one of the better places we ate. We ordered a pizza for one, a pizza for two and a caesar salad. This, along with the very good italian bread they provided, was enough to feed the four of us.

The inside decor, was over the top, but part of the fun. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed our lunch and would eat here again.

“Best italian meal ever”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

I recently had lunch in this restaurant as part of a NYC tour. The décor, the setting, the food, the service was all fantastic. It was the best Italian meal I have ever had, was actually going to return for dinner but ran out of time. Will visit again!!

“Lunch in the city”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

After touring downtown my family and I walked to Mulbery Street looking for lunch. There are many places to eat and trying to pick one is half the fun. They all have people standing on the street trying to get you in and they all have lunch special as well. We chose Paesno because the guy out front was funny and there were seats in the shade available. We all got a different dish and they were all great. I had chicken parm, it was very good. The unlimited bread was also delicious. They are not the cheapest on the street, but it is a great experience and I will return.

We wanted to eat here but noticed there wasn't any seating for 4. The comical man outside trying to get us to eat there said "no problem" . What a riot as we watched him kindly rearrange some of the diners. We found the food to be unique as well as flavorful.
