Fabulous brunch. The brunch is a bit pricey but it is so yummy and indulgent. It is everything brunch should be. The bread platter arrives and it is just sinful. The cinnamon roll is what Cinnabon promises us in but fails to deliver. It is warm, gooey and perfect.

The other breads and rolls were good but not to the level of the Cinnamon roll.

The portions are huge and generous. The scallops were perfectly caramelized and delicious. My companion had the prosciutto with figs which was huge.

My open faced omelet was one of the best omelette's that I have had. My companion ordered the steak with sunny side eggs. The portion was again, huge and if you don't mind the calories, it was definitely, the best deal on the menu. Where else could you get a nice chunk of fillet with prosciutto and bread for $42?

The service was less than ideal. The server was cold and seemed to forget about us. We had to ask three times for another cinnamon roll. They finally delivered two rolls and then two different bread platters. There was definitely, a lack of communication with the server and the kitchen.

Despite the mediocre service, the food was fabulous. The restaurant is moving which explains why the decor which changes seasonally hasn't had the same punch that it did when the restaurant first opened its doors.

One of the best if not the best meal we've had in a long time. Food and service top notch. Be sure to make a reservation as they can get very busy.

“Close your eyes for the bill - it's worth it”

Had dinner here while visiting NY last week. It's our second visit - the first pronounced by the Memsahib as one of the best restaurant meals she had ever experienced. This wasn't quite so good but still a solid five star effort.

Service is outstanding, surroundings perfect (and, as you may appreciate, change with the seasons, as does the food). Cocktails were very good - not too strong. Appetisers were an excellent Fig Carpaccio with Hoya Santo Goat Cheese and a truly delicious Grilled Quail with Faro Verde and Cherry Balsamic Dressing - generous and lots of finger work. Mains were a lovely Venison Short Loin with a delicious Pumpkin Mole and a very garlicky Veal Chop, beautifully cooked with two types of mushrooms. The Miso Brussel Sprouts were inspired and the Potato Latkes delicious. A 1999 Leoville Barton kept everything very good company.

I know some people will say this place is pretentious and plays to its Park Avenue audience. That may be so but the food is outstanding. They are due to move next year - I guess we will see how that goes.

“Expensive and pretentious”

Went here for breakfast in its "Autumn" guise (the restaurant's decor and menu changes with the seasons) and was pretty disappointed. The food was okay, but nothing great, and certainly not enough to justify the astronomical expense. Yes, okay, it's on the Upper East Side, so everything is expensive, but you can get better for less.

nice décor and very upscale menu....well overpriced for what you get....assume their location off park ave drives their costs as they don't provide any better dishes than those at 2/3 the price....clientele was obviously quite hi end
