I've now stayed here three separate times and each time I'm impressed. That goes for the housekeeping, bellman all the way to the front desk attendants. Everyone is so polite,I just can't say enough about how much I adore this hotel.

DID I MENTION HEATED FLOORS because those are kind of a big deal

Room Tip: It's times square, it's a little noisy anywhere you stay, but the curtains black out everyth...

Dear Whitney,

Thank you so much for the shout out; its fantastic to hear feedback from one of our first "repeat" guests. I have your gold passport number on file and have added on your profile a note to remind us to get you on a high floor with heated floors for all of your future stays. I look forward to a lot of them!

Stayed for four nights mid February 2014 with my 14 year old daughter. Hotel has fresh modern design. Standard queen room which had two queen beds. Good size room. Very comfortable beds. clean. Huge TV screen. not a lot of drawer storage space for clothes if there are more than two of you. Light switches took some getting used to. Booked through Expedia, which made it good value. All staff without exception were very pleasant and helpful. All requests dealt with very promptly.
The WiFi in the room is expensive, I thought it should have been free. It is free in the lobby, but there are not many places to sit.
The hotel wasn't very busy whilst we were there, but I suspect the lobby, which is not very big, would get a bit crowded at check out time at busier times of the year. Same with the diner at breakfast time.
Excellent location next to Times Square within easy walking distance of most attractions.
Diner food very good, especially the French toast and carrot cake, (had that twice!). Great view from the top floor bar. (have to be over 21 to enter). I would definitely return here next time we visit New York.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 31st floor. I think the higher floors have less noise. We turned off the AC unit at...

Our visit began on a cold valentine's day with an extremely warm welcome by my hubby's new buddy Chester! The staff was extremely receptive and helpful. The attention to details in the rooms are amazing, our favorite feature was the 'All off/on' light switches by the night stands. The rainfall shower was a great addition. The view of times square was excellent. The docking station at the desk with the large television complemented our stay.
The gym is well equipped. When we ordered delivery the front desk called to inform us that it had arrived and asked if we would like them to send the delivery person up to our room, when at the door, we were impressed that he was escorted by one the hotel's staff security. All in all we couldn't have chosen a better hotel.

This Hyatt was only open 7 weeks when we stayed there. As a result, everything was in excellent condition. We stayed in an Executive Suite (two rooms: King bed + Queen sofabed), and were intrigued by the lighting system (labeled buttons on the walls in each room, various degrees of full and mood lighting) and the shower (rain-like). The King bed was comfortable, but the 7-week old Queen sofa bed was like any other sofa bed: lumpy and springy, therefore uncomfortable. On our first night I requested foam pillows, and while my request was given to the reception desk agent (standing in front of her), no foam pillows were ever delivered. We also had difficulty using the futuristic phones, which we came to find out on Day 2 were actually broken. The hotel sent someone to fix them, but he was unable to help; so the manager comped us a $35 restaurant bill to make up for it. All in all, I would consider staying here again if I need a Times Square hotel. The location was mere blocks from our theater and restaurant. Opt for one of the two delis just doors from the hotel for an affordable breakfast!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms hear less street noise.

Dear KDeegs,

Greetings from NYC and thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that on the whole you enjoyed your stay and would consider us again but very sorry to hear about a couple of the very avoidable issues such as the phone not working and the foam pillows being delivered. I trust if you stay with us you will see we have ironed out many of these kinks.

Feel free to let me know if you ever plan on returning and we will ensure an exceptional experience!
Very best regards,
Ryan

Wanted something between theater district and shopping and this was just the place. Room was equipped with coffee, refrigerator, large window and GREAT pillows. Quiet quiet quiet. Couldn't hear anything. Free Wifi only in lobby. Beds made European style but top sheets available on request :). Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Hyatt Times Square was very comfortable. The hotel lobby is sleek and felt secure. The front desk was adequately staffed and made the check-in/check-out process very easy. The hotel is relatively new so we expected everything to be nearly spotless and show little signs of wear.

We booked a standard room, but received an upgrade as Platinum members in Hyatt's rewards program. We were given a room on the 38th floor facing north. We didn't really care much about the views as we planned on being away from the room most of the time. The room was exceptionally quiet, very clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and adequate in size. There was nothing lacking from the room.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat at the T45 restaurant adjacent to the hotel lobby. The restaurant is a diner with a modern/upscale theme. We stopped in around 11:30 and had to order from the breakfast menu - that's when we should have left. $75 for 3 OJs, 3 pancakes, and omelet, and 2 coffees bordered on ridiculous. We were a bit pressed for time and I blame myself for staying, but that doesn't mean you should make the same mistake I did. I implore you to step outside just a few steps and you will find suitable options at a significantly lower cost.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I would not only recommend the hotel, I would stay there again myself.

Room Tip: Rooms with higher numbers are farthest from the elevators and will have less foot traffic.
