Spent three days on business --- less than a block from our offices -- and equally close to Times Square areas. They are stil completing construction / finishing top few floors -- but you wouldn't know any work was going on. Hyatt doing an excellent job with customer service from all staff -- front door, front desk, day and night managers, restaurant staff etc. Checked in quite late - shown to room --- noticed a few fixtures weren't quite properly installed --- as I was the first quest in that room. Even though close to midnight -- the night manager arrived with key to new and very well appointed room upgrade. Wonderful working and relaxing room, true working desk set up - plents of outlets for charging everything -- beds great and the best bathrooms of most any of the higher end levels of the recognized chain hotels. Breakfast was very good and reasonable. Location is simply as good as any of the very good hotels in the Mid-Town Times Square area. Well policed with staff tending to smallest details for guests and keeping their new facility well cared for. Still breaking in aspects of the fit out - going very well -- any issue resolved instantly. The Roof Top Lounge one of the best views - inside and from their outside patio - of mid-town with a clear all the way to the World Trade center --- will be "the" hot spot when weather permits all to sit outside -- where they have fire place as well. Hyatt a good pedigree to begin with -- their new properties looking to keep ahead of the times in design, function, location and amenities.

The hotel is at a great location. We watched the Rocky Broadway show just nearby. We got a limousine city tour. The 54 bar located on the 54th floor is amazing! The sunset was very pretty in spite of the cold, cold weather. We had an awesome stay!

This hotel has only been open a few months but you can tell the staff has been trained well. Every single staff member was warm and friendly without being "plastic". The gym is one of the best I have been to check out the pictures. I love the light switches in the room, love that you can shut down all the lights with one switch. The bathroom is immaculate with a rain shower and a huge tub.
Breakfast was included since I am a diamond member. The hash and Short ribs are AMAZING.

Very nice brand new hotel, about 1/4 block from Times Square. I like the location, being on the East side of Times Square, closer to 5th and 6th Avenues, rather than towards 8th Avenue. The room was quite spacious, especially considering the very congested area around Times Square... nice desk area with good lighting. The sound insulation between rooms was excellent. It's sort of a high-tech basic modern design, especially in the bathroom, which had a very spacious shower.

The lobby area is a bit small, not really any place that I recall to even sit down. There is a small counter area with a few prepared sandwiches and snacks, but not a huge selection. Fortunately, about a minutes walk from the hotel is a big 24 hour deli type place, that has everything, including a hot self serve buffet, salad bar, etc. Nice views from the upper floor rooms. Very comfortable bedding.

The staff were all very friendly and very hard working. I was very impressed because it seemed that every single employee, without any exception, seemed genuinely interested in making sure everyone had a great stay. They seemed to be well-trained, and really happy where they work.

The price compared to other hotels in the area seemed to be a much better value, but I suspect as the hotel gains in popularity, rates might creep up a bit. So many hotel choices in the area, but this was a particularly good one.

Room Tip: Their website had an option to have a higher floor room with a better view for a reasonable higher r...

Planned a date night and the wife and I had a great time! We had dinner at a local restaurant then finished up at the rooftop lounge. The drinks were good a little pricey but the views were fantastic! The night was so clear it seemed like we could reach out and touch the Chrysler building. Even though it was cold we still enjoyed being outside for a little while and taking some pictures. Our room was quite comfortable & spacious. The staff were friendly and eager to go above and beyond. The following day we ate breakfast at T45's and ended a fantastic time. I cannot wait to repeat!

Room Tip: High floors have great views

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. You can tell it’s a brand new hotel with the décor and design of the lobby area and rooms. I really didn’t get to enjoy the spa and lounge upstairs because I was walking around Time Square most of the time. It is really close to all the Broadway shows and shops like Forever 21, H&M, American Eagle, M&M Store and Express etc. There is also a Starbucks right across the street from the hotel, the Starbucks is pretty small but it does have a seating area compared to the other ones in the Times Square area that don’t have a seating area for you at all. I was a little disappointed that the hotel didn’t have a 24HR dining or kitchen area. However, there is a 24HR Deli/Café that is right down the street from the hotel it has a good selection of food and drinks. Also, I felt the dining area in the hotel was a little over priced for eggs and bacon, but there is a restaurant called Junior’s that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner they also have amazing food. I didn’t see any trains stations close by the area, but then again I wasn’t looking too hard. When you walk out from the hotel there is always somebody there ready to get you to a taxi to take you to your next destination. We did have a problem with are room not putting out any heat, when we informed them about this they sent somebody up to our room to look at it. That’s when he informed use that it would take a while for him to figure out what was wrong with it. When he went downstairs to inform the manager about our room situation she called use and told use she would be upgrading are room to one with a terrace. That room was huge and the terrace was also big, it also had a better view of Time Square. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs.

P.S. The pictures are from the first room not the second.

We spent 2 weekend nights here with 2 other couples on a NYC getaway weekend and were quite pleased. It is new, with eager-to-please service, and the rooms have exactly what we DO want and nothing we don't need. ROOMS: adequate size, with comfy king, built in fridge, safe, huge flat-screen TV, large shower, large closet. Lots of plugs for mobile, iPad, laptop recharging. Great view of Manhattan to the north (from our room). LOCATION: perfect. ½ block from Times Square, 5 short blocks from Grand Central Station. We took the train in, walked everywhere (theater, restaurants, shopping). FOOD: Bar on 54th floor has spectacular view of Manhattan. T-45 diner in lobby is fine for breakfast and lunch; they don't try to compete with the zillion restaurants within a few blocks, which is smart. SERVICE: Eager-to-please. Everyone greets you. Accommodated all requests. COMPLAINTS: Charging $13/day for basic Internet felt like nickel-diming us. We didn't buy it, just used our iPhones instead of our laptops.
