“Just O.K.”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

My wife and I went there with a coupon we had purchased, and after we were seated the restaurant filled quickly. The place is so cramped that people were practically sitting on top of us. The waiter and maitre'd were constantly trying to upsell us beyond our voucher, and when we did add drinks and dessert they screwed up the bill. Trout Amendine was just o.k. My wife said the salmon wasn't much better. In the restaurant's defense they were overwhelmed with coupon holders, but the service and attitude could have been better. I know others that really enjoy this place, but our experience doesn't reflect this. Probably won't go back, particularly with the myriad of great French restaurants in the area.

“Nice atmosphere, good and abundant food”
Reviewed 12 January 2014

We visited on a Groupon. The house was so full of people who, I assume, came for their 6 pm dinner, that we had to walk around the block until a table opened for us. We waited a bit because the waiters were too busy with all those people, but it turned out all right in the end.
We chose an excellent wine from their menu, a bit more expensive than the price included in the Groupon, and enjoyed it tremendously. The food was very good, the pork shoulder wonderful, with celery mashed potato. We ended our meal with creme brulee, which was very delicate and a nice cappuccino. All in all a lot of food in our book, and an offer that cannot be beat. A nice and nourishing evening. I can only recommend this place.

“Pleasant meal in a quaint setting”
Reviewed 17 December 2013

We dined here on a Sunday evening, using a Savored reservation. The staff were uniformly welcoming and efficient, and we really were impressed with the food. Two of us had the scallops and risotto special, which was truly delicious. Another member of our party had the salmon, which he really liked. We enjoyed our experience, and would return, even without the Savored discount.
Next time I'll try the chicken livers - I must have overlooked them this time!

“A trip to the 7th without the air fare”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

Had wanted to go here for ages and finally made it. On a blissfully quiet corner of the Village, it reminds us of wonderful times in Paris. The menu varied and the food is very good if not exceptional. We'll be back soon.

“They are looking for SHMAKS”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

First poblem is GROOPON. If the business is good it does need a help of Groopon. Secondly, a main problem is restaurant itself. Verry arrogant waiter-manager gave us a seats at long banket table, in spite I made a reservation for 2 days in advance and asked for table for4.He did it because we had Groopon. They treat you with Groopon as a third class customers and starts to hate you from the very first moment.I tried to explain to him, that we wanted privicy. He was not only arrogant , he was also stabborn. We could not walk out because we were with GROOPON and he knew it and was taken advantage of us. Shame!!!! And when I told him: I can promise good review on Trip Advisor, he gave us better seats. He lied to us that everything is booked and taken. It was not!!!
Lets go to the food.Ordinary.Overpriced.So called "fish soup" was jast fish broth, tesetless and warm, not hot. All food was warm. But a lot of triks with 2 different recceepits, adding tips to total WITH tax.In this field Mr. Manager-waiter was exelente.Restorant reminds us a stable. In that area a lot of good restaurants but we made mistake taken GROOPON. So we blame ourself.I think it is a bad idea to go for dinner with groopon. "Free chees only in moustrap". If this restaurant need a help of GROOPON.... it means....Tell yours friends and friends of friends and you realatives and your childern and granchildern never go to this stiker. And alwys after bad reviews 4 or 5 good reviews follow. Like to change impression. Let see what kind of review would be after this one.
