My wife and I ate here and were really happy with it. She had the veal paso bucolic, I had the chicken. Both really tasty dishes. They made good mojitos, too.

Lots of locals were eating here, which gave the feeling that it was a cozy, neighbourhood type of restaurant on the corner of Central Park.

What you are paying when you go to this restaurant is the location, that's all. As for food goes, it's above average (we will give them this) but not that much to pay almost $30 for a regular and simple salad.

Additionally, I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and what they brought me just wasn't it. I have never had a sauvignon blanc that has some sort of bubbles/foam. I requested that they would change it and they did (although I got the side eye). In just a couple of minutes a waiter stopped by with a bottle of sauvignon blanc and poured the wine on the glass (to avoid confusions).

Service ok, overrated, great location.

As someone who has traveled to Italy far too many times, and been to Harry's Bar in Venice, I wonder about this incarnation to the Cipriani franchise. The bar at this 5th Ave restaurant accommodates 2-3 guests at best, its that tiny. Yet, Jose' is a great barman and you'd love to idle away the time with a few cocktails, but impossible. The place is always crowded. It appears as though the waiting staff are running at times, it's not the place for a long lazy dinner.

Food wise the fare is average. But that's the case in Venice too, so we shouldn't be surprised.

We ate there a couple of times, friends gathering to experience a Michelin rated eatery. Whilst some of the dishes, like the risotto, and the antipasti are very good, each meal we have was merely OK. Dinner can actually be over in an hour, if you want it to, it runs that fast.

We've had breakfast there too and would strong suggest you look elsewhere.

Very attentive wait staff and excellent food. Items are expensive but the food was superb. 20% discount for hotel guests.

Not so much to say but simply the best. Expensive but food is delicious, and service on top. Compare to other places in NYC this is worth every dollar. A must every time in NYC.
