I bid this hotel on Priceline and wasn't sure what I would get! Once I started reading the reviews, I just became obsessed with not sleeping, because the one consistent comment was about the plastic sheets! LET ME EASE THE CONCERN!!! The sheets are nothing. Yes, the fitted sheet (and only the fitted sheet that you sleep on) is a little bit noisy, but the bed is super comfortable. No issues at all. We requested a higher-level room and got a room on the 32 floor. Amazing view, with a little of Central Park!
A little trick that no one seems to talk about- the 35th floor (which has the gym and ice machine) has a beautiful wrap-around terrace with amazing views of the city.
The hotel was built at the beginning of 2014, and is extremely modern. The elevators require that everyone on the upper floors swipe their card. The staff were extremely friendly and act interested in why you were visiting NYC.
You walk out of the hotel and EVERYTHING is within walking distance.More
