“Architecture and Food”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

The architecture of Grand Central Station is awesome and historic and if you've never visited the "food court" on the lower level, you're missing a foodie's paradise. From pizza to pastries, bagels to burgers and coffee to candy, a lesson in great New York grap-as-you-go food is available here pretty much all day and into the evening.

“Grand Central Market, New York”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Never mind all the hustle and bustle of grand Central...just go along to the market inside it.
A cornucopia of delicious foods, all top quality...and even if you are on a diet, I defy you to look at some of the delicious cakes without being sorely tempted.
Eat your hearts out, Fortnum and Mason's food hall...and particularly Harrod's food hall...you are second class citizens...and I have to say this as a proud Brit!

“Grab fresh foods to go”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

I went to the Market almost everyday during my 5 days' stay to grab my meals to eat in a hotel room. Variety of fresh foods and delicatessens. I enjoyed my choice of new cheeses with staff advices. Loved fresh berries too.

“Great fresh produce”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

Worth coming to the station just to check out the market. Wonderful and colourful array of fresh fish, meat and produce. Difficult to resist buying. Try out the Li-Lac chocolates, New York oldest chocolatier.

“Great market”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

This isn't really a market as l understand a market - UK style. It is more of a high quality food store. The produce is so well laid out and of top quality. Since it was Easter l was tempted by the $175 chocolate bunny - but went for a $2 slice of maple fudge instead!
