“A work of art”
Reviewed 6 June 2012

I would definitely recommend the High Line walk to anybody who visits New York. I loved the idea that just people are allowed on the walk - no dogs, skateboards etc. There's a place mid-way where you can get an excellent cup of coffee too! Innovative and practical artworks along the way, eg bird-feeders with an artistic twist! A highly successful planting programme which is a joy to behold and good views of the river here and there. A must

“Totally Over Hyped”
Reviewed 5 June 2012

It's not a "park," It's a windy, empty, walkway filled with tourists and no view. Totally over hyped. Who are they kidding?

“I'm high on the High Line”
Reviewed 5 June 2012

I love this place! Great on any day, there is always something new at the High Line. Such a different perspective of the City. After, head to French bistro on the corner of 18th Street for wonderful French food and wine.

“Don't Miss It”
Reviewed 5 June 2012

The High Line is a gem in the city, unlike anything else. I had read about it, but not seen it, and unless you go, you cannot appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of it. Go and enjoy! Stop and have some treats at the Chelsea Market too.
