The Highline is a long bridge built for people to walk, its like a broadwalk in the city but elevated. There is often arts and artists playing music. There is also beautiful scenery to take pictures. A must see if you are in NYC. Come Photoshoot ready.

Absolutely a must when visiting NY. Great views and great scenery. Whomever thought of preserving this piece of history should be awarded.

Family of 4 visiting this great attraction. In June 2018 parts have scaffolding covering sections. Went there on Tuesday mid morning starting at the southern end. Stopped for lunch at New York Burger Co, 470 West 23rd St (separate review). Highly recommended as a pit stop. Was not too busy, but probably took 3 hours including lunch.

A superb setting for a lovely stroll through NYC. This is a nice way to get through a portion of town without the usual hustle and bustle of city streets.

As this is staffed by volunteers there are parts that are far from beautiful. It is a great concept and I am sure in a short while the whole walk will be beautiful. The views of new buildings makes the walk more interesting. The 34th street end is the best part of the gardens.
