Good atmosphere, ambience, and terrific service. Now about the food. You can't run an Italian restaurant without great sauce. Sorry, but I've tasted better out of a jar. Had eggplant parm. Eggplant was actually bland, poorly breaded or spiced. This is unfortunate because the place is cute and the service is excellent. Forget about it!

Located on a busy corner, with lots of competition from other Italian restaurants nearby, this one failed to impress. The fixed price menu, offered salad or soup, followed by mainly pasta or pizza and then cheesecake. Interestingly, the 'gratuity' was added to the bill before it was presented to us. Aussies coming to grips with the tipping culture should be alert to this.

Have ate here a few times. The fixed price menus start at $21.95 and go to $29.95. All include soup or salad and cheesecake for dessert. The lamb shank on the $29.95 menu is decent, just ask for the sauce on the side as it can sometimes be too sweet. The gnocchi in the meat sauce on the $21.95 menu is also very good. Wine is at a decent price point, and sitting outside people watching while eating dinner is a highlight!

Super friendly and attentive staff. But if there was basil on my pizza margherita, I missed it. And it was only tomatoe sauce rather than tomatoes. Basically a cheese pizza but it was good.

Really enjoyed the 3 course special menu, very good value. Set menu but a good variety of options, with the exception of dessert, cheesecake only. The only criticism was the heating which seemed to be on a cycle of very hot to pleasantly cool.
