Description: Peacock Alley’s a la carte lunch menu is “Where New York Does Business." By the early evening, the iconic Cole Porter piano begins to play, as guests sip inspired and artful cocktails with rare and house-infused spirits. The sumptuous Sunday brunch was voted one of the 10 Best Brunches in New York City by Open Table in 2011 & 2012. The restaurant, bar and discreet lounge are located in the heart of the bustling main lobby of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The private dining rooms are ideal for small corporate lunches, private dinner events and celebrations, both small and large.

“Superb buffet breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

Oscar's offers a huge variety of fresh hot and cold breakfast items, ranging from raspberries, strawberries and watermelon to excellent scrambled eggs, delicious made-to-order omelets, pancakes, breakfast meats and salmon, yoghurts, cereals, croissant-type pastries, and of course, juices and coffees. A wonderful way to the start the day, especially if included in a room package. Very high quality, and personal omelets are a special treat!

“Drinks before the theater”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

Nice area in the lobby of the main hotel but it gets quite crowded. I also had lunch here one day and it was wonderful. Drinks are very expensive but this is New York!

“Piano player was fabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

Stopped by for a drink and stayed a while. The young lady on the piano was terrific. We really enjoyed listening to her. She was so good that when she was done playing most if not all patrons left. I had a $25 glass of champagne and my husband had a beer. We would not have stayed long if not for the entertainment.

“Thank God for the Lady piano player”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2014

Only she makes it bearable with her Porter and Gershwin, and pleasant smile for all. Otherwise, bar is just overpriced drinks served slowly by uncommunicative waiters from somewhere (but not native new yorkers). People used to talk with bartenders and waiters..not here.Learn English and Try a little friendliness .
