The advantage of this venue is that there is a place for the band to play and for the audience to stand. If you like history, you can imagine that you're seeing it all around you.
I'm so thankful that we got in line early enough to get to the rail at the stage. Otherwise, we'd be getting hotter and hotter while smelling the rest of the crowd - all while trying to see above their heads. We got Mezzanine tickets as a fall-back, but never made the trip up. If you're not in the VIP seating, you're so far back from the stage that you probably have to go through the Lincoln Tunnel to get there.
So, if you love the performer - go, and get in line early so that you can get up front. But if you can get to a better venue, or if you're not nuts about the performer, go somewhere else.
