I love the songs in this musical and really enjoyed the whole thing. I thought Elena Rogers was good but a bit screechy in places. Loved Ricky Martin. Thought the stage scenery could be better. Enjoyed it but very costly!

Evita, on the whole, is a good play. We enjoyed the music and choreography. I'm sorry to say that Elena Roger's accent (she is Argentinian) made her difficult at times to understand, and when she reached for the higher registers, it was not pretty. I'm sure she has a good voice, but she has a limited range that would be better suited for a different role. We heard other theatre goers expressing similar sentiments. Singing is often more difficult to understand than the spoken word. The rest of the cast, especially Ricky Martin and Max Von Essen, and the chorus were very good.

The revival of Evita at the Marquis Theatre saw the classic play coming back to its own. But the star of the show, with his fantastic voice and tremendous stage presence was Ricky Martin. He simply rocked, truly spectacular. Christina DeCicco played Eva Peron with tremendous appeal. The highlight was the song Don't Cry For Me Argentina, still bringing goosebumps. Great show Ricky Martin was superb

I saw the revival of Evita last week and enjoyed every minute. The setting was remarkable, the production team had made fantastic use of all stage space. Casting and music were fantastic. Ricky Martin was brilliant! In the production I saw, the understudy for Evita was used, Christina DeCicco, and she was brilliant.
Everyone go and see this amazing show !
