Description: Da Marino serves traditional authentic Italian cuisine featuring Chef Massimo's Northern Italian dishes and Chef Pasquale's Southern Italian cooking. Upon entering the restaurant you feel that you are in an old Italian villa overlooking the Mediterranean through balcony windows and terrace. The restaurant was created and designed by Chef Pasquale and painted by Italian artist Davide Rodoquino. We offer live piano music every evening.

We had a great appetizer & pasta course. For a main course we chose Osso Bucco, which was tough & not very flavorful. We also had a carafe of house red wine ($48). No prices were quoted for the specials by our waiter & when we received our bill were shocked to see that the Osso Bucco was almost $50. Menu items were not nearly that expensive. Also, the menu features a chocolate martini that has coffee in it. We asked them to make ours without the coffee...they charged more than the menu price to do this. The music was a bit distracting for me. They were taking requests & we heard George Strait, La Bamba, Elvis....not at all what I would have expected.

After reading the TA reviews we opted to try Da Marino for a 10th anniversary dinner celebration. We were promptly seated in a quaint, quiet corner of the restaurant, and provided the evening specials. After the 2nd greeting by another server, we made our selections. The appetizer special of cold cuts and cheese was adequate, but nothing spectacular. We both selected pasta dishes for our entrees, the seafood entree was excellent, the mushroom one less so. As our meal was wrapping up, 2 women arrived and sat at the table next to us. "Friends" of the owner, they were very loud throughout the remainder of the meal , a very unwelcome distraction. After a 20 minute wait to potentially order dessert, we left without the last course, not feeling this restaurant was anything special.

I had to write about Da Marino because of the outstanding hospitality extended to my wife and I. I love Italian and the food was comparable to what we enjoyed on a visit to Rome and Florence last year. I was very surprised to get similar flavors at this small place. This restaurant also has a small band that plays at 9pm and the pianist sings like Bocelli! A glass of red wine, a good bowl of pasta and the band playing "That's Amore": What's not to like?

My husband and I found this most delightful place next to the Theater we were planning to attend that evening. It was the best gem ever! We walked down that afternoon for happy hour and the bartender and his wonderful sidekick amused us with stories and their warm hospitality. We enjoyed the afternoon so much we went back that evening for dinner, (DELICIOUS) and the next night and the next night! We could not get enough! The place is absolutely charming with gorgeous murals and decor. The Food - FABULOUS - some of the best I had ever had. The people - Super! They made us feel like family from the very beginning. Each would come by to say hello and to give us a special welcome, making us feel like we were truly special. The music was fun and all were encouraged to dance and participate. We had a blast!
You can't go wrong with the ambiance, food, music and people. Don't miss this place. It is definitely worth it!

We were a party of 10 celebrating a staff member's birthday. The moment we stepped in the door the place was alive with music and people celebrating but not overbearing or too loud. We were seated immediately when our last party members arrived. The wait staff were very attentive and dealt with my wife's food allergies perfectly and the food was awesome! It was sumptuous leisurely meal in an amazingly charming place! We will be back soon!
