Thin tapestries of translucent rose fabric are embellished with flame motifs and suspended from the ceiling, creating a separate seating area perfect for a light bite near the large front windows. Famous for its unique and mouth-watering interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

Although we had reservations, we were sat early, service was great. Food was fantastic. Fresh, cold, not salty, like some restaurants. Atmosphere was great also. Everything was timed perfectly.

Food and atmosphere are great! Noisy, but still good for business. Not great for families, but almost any other reason is a winner.

Definitely one of the hippest restaurants in NYC. The food and service were wonderful. Candlelit staircase, hanging modern mobiles, secluded booths this place has it all.

Dying for a Japanese meal on our last night in NYC, stumbled across this restaurant using a map app on my smart phone. Beautiful interiors and food to match. Had their signature roll on recommendation by the waiter and so glad I did, food was fantastic. Service impeccable.

The food is beautifully presented, fresh and filling. The menu is extensive but the helpful waiters are on hand to offer suggestions and pointers. It was quite quiet when we first arrived, I think we maybe went a bit too early (8pm) as things were just getting busy while we ate our desserts. Overall a very pleasant experience that I would like to repeat and seeing the Bryant Park Hotel has made me want to stay there next time I'm in town.
