I was at the hotel, after having been in the same chain in Barcelona and it was excellent. But here in new york I paid a room for two people and had a bed for a single person. Making my stay uncomfortable. I Talk to the reception and they didn't give me a solution the location is good. But for the money that i paid, i could have a better hotel.

The service had its ups and downs...
The value is average since the Residence Inn near 5th avenue provides an equivalent service with a lower price. The value rating could be improved if the hotel provided a fitness room and a bigger TV in the bedroom.
The sleep quality is Excellent. Great bed, pillows, air conditioning/heater.
Cleanliness is Excellent.
Location is Excellent. Near the subway, starbucks, Delis, Central Park and not so far away from Time Square and Broadway.

Room Tip: As higher as possible to avoid nois from traffic.

It's New York City - rooms are a bit small, but nicely configured, actually good for a single, a little cramped for two, and impossible for than that. The bathroom is really small and cramped, which can present a problem. Queen bed - no king available, but if the bed had been larger it would be difficult to move around the room. Strong points: the really pleasant staff who seem genuinely interested in being helpful and friendly - the location, not just for Manhattan, but also if you need to get over to Queens or the trendy areas of Long Island City. The restaruant is pricey - but hey, it's the big apple. Parking is outrageous - $55/day with no in and out privileges. Even with the negatives, I would stay there again if headed to NYC.

Room Tip: Not good if you plan on using your car

One of the most unique hotels I've stayed in. Near Central Park. Combines modern luxury and conveniences with a taste of the past in this wonderfully historic hotel. Very unique and well worth booking a stay for business or pleasure. Will definitely return again.

We stayed at the hotel for a night for my Nephew's NYU graduation. It was reasonably priced and offered a great location. Rooms were a bit small but typical for NYC. We had drinks in the lounge and there was a bit of a scuffle that occured with a drunken man who had "borrowed" a bottle of vodka and fell on my table and my nieces lap. Security was called and they handled it very professionally. The staff recovered well and compensated us for the distruption.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask the type of bed you desire. No King rooms available when I checked in.

Hotel is perfectly located just a few blocks from Central Park and the upper east side shopping of NYC.

The property itself is trendy and modern, had a nice restaurant and a small but very romantic rooftop bar with great views of manhattan.

Rooms are a bit small, but nicely appointed.

Staff was awesome.

Five star stay

Hotel 57 is in a great location at 57th and Lexington. Service is good and room sizes are probably above average for a NYC hotel. I wish they offered King beds for a one bedroom, but they don't. Have been to the bar and the drinks and apps were great and service was very good. The staff was very accommodating when I needed to take care of some business needs as well as ask for extra toiletries. Good restaurants and shopping not too far away...Apple store, FAO etc., all within walking distance. Overall, I would stay here again and since this is a Marriott property, points accumulated for a business traveler is a bonus.
