Wandering around the East Village, hungry and just hoping to stumble upon a great meal - we did. Not much to look at, this simple, kind of dark little Tibetan/Nepali place hit on all cylinders. We frequent Tibetan places in the Northeast, so ordered several dishes we don't typically see on those menus. We assumed these were more Nepali in origin. All three dishes we ordered were fantastic (sorry we don't remember their names). One was a cold veggie and tofu app in a tomato base. Fresh, tasty, with a bit of a kick. A chicken curry dish was similarly great, as was a chicken and fresh seasonal veggie dish. Place was quiet so food came quickly. Server was friendly and responsive. We will absolutely return.
