If your visiting New York and want to be close to Times squar, then its not bad. Rooms are old and a little rundown but in comparrison it was not bad value as NYC is expensive.
Bar downstairs was good fora quick drink on the way out or back, but there's not really a lot you can add to this.

One good piece of advice. Checking in and Check out at this place is like Gatwick airport in July, so do a sneeky and check out late the night before. Check in - i have no plan, but its so annoying that they are so slow and right next to reservations people you will see others just standing around. I visit every year and will get back to a smaller boutique hotel next year.

Gym is very good i must say, and its only a 2 min walk to central part for a jog - so i tickwed that box.

Room Tip: Use a higher quality hotel for a better room. you pay for what you get here.

I had booked many rooms at this hotel for my daughters wedding. Our stay was wonderful. The deluxe rooms were very big and the views are amazing. One of the rooms was a suite which I reserved for my daughters wedding night and it was amazing. Centrally located and staff was excellent. Amy worked with us and was a very helpful manager at the front desk.

Room Tip: Get the deluxe, they are more updated and over nicer, worth the extra money.

I stayed at this hotel in November for the thanksgiving parade. The hotel is in an excellent central location we were able to see the parade in full standing outside the hotel. Also there are some rooms facing the main road, so you can watch the parade from there! I was disappointed with the breakfast service, not enough variety, and food seemed to finish quickly and not refilled. Also it was rather chaotic as we need to wait in line to be seated but often realised there was no host, and guest were just walking in and skipping the line. The hotel lobby and facilities are very modern, but half the hotel has been refurbished and the other half hasn't. so some rooms are still rather old, with older furniture, bathrooms etc. As we got a room upgrade we were able to tell the difference between floors. I would highly recommend that before you book this hotel, find out if you are on the refurbished floors rather than the older ones. overall had a great experience!

This hotel is in a great location for Central Park, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller and Radio City. The lobby is very impressive. We showed up and received an executive room which had a terrible smell and were kindly moved to a suite for our stay. Hotel is modern as part of their revamp, the lift system is designed well and you dont feel like you are in such a big hotel. Great executive lounge however sadly they moved it to the ground floor. Cant wait to revisit, convenience to Central Park is incredible for a nice big walk.

Room Tip: If you are Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond ensure you ask for executive rooms as all seemed available

We stayed one night at this hotel at the end of our NYC trip as I was attending a conference at the hotel.

We had just checked in after staying three nights at Staybridge Suites. The Hilton is a very big hotel and I found the lobby and conference areas very busy and noisy.

I would say that the room at this hotel was a bit larger however, more expensive and didn't include the great amenities of Staybridge Suites. No free newspaper, breakfast or internet.

I am not sure why these large chains feel the need to charge for internet access, early check in and they even charged $3.50 per bag to store them at check out? It really is nickel and diming your clients.

Nice hotel, but not good value.
