“Made our trip so delightful.”

In New York for museum hopping with a girlfriend we wanted a midtown hotel with some style but not outrageously priced. The London fits the bill. The large suite with twin beds, separate sitting room and large well equipped bathroom were all stylishly decorated. Excellent cleaning staff. Wifi free and fast. All the staff were speedy and friendly. This is a first class hotel. Gordon would be proud!

The location of this hotel was awesome -- within walking distance to a lot of places. My husband and I didn't even use a taxi once while we were here.

The rooms were pretty big for the price -- which is average by NYC hotel standards. My friend got the same price at a different hotel for a room half the size.

Our only issue is that the bathroom doors doesn't close completely. It slides to close, and the door stops about an inch before it reaches the wall. So if you go with someone, you better be comfortable with them!

The showers were large, good bathroom products, and it was pretty clean.

The front desk wasn't very friendly during check-in, or in answering our questions.

Our room was accessed by hotel personnel and valuable personal items were stolen including IPad and IPhone. Hotel tried to say that we did not properly close the door but later admitted that the door locked correctly. A claim was filed with the hotel's insurance company but they only were willing to settle for part of the loss and it took far too long for them to settle the claim.

We stayed for six nights in early March 2014 in one of the Sky Suites.
The room was ideal for such a long stay having the separate lounge room, it was an ideal place to relax after adventuring out into the cold NY weather.
Breakfast service was relaxed and enjoyable. In room dining was good, but the selection was a little restricted.
The concierge was friendly and very supportive; helped us with theatre bookings, restaurant bookings and cars. All very supportive.
The gym/fitness room was well appointed and easy to access.
This was not a cheap hotel, but it was good value and a great place to stay. Would definitely return.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have not been disappointed. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The concierge staff is willing to go the extra mile to accommodate your requests. All rooms are a small suite with lots of room. The rooms are quiet. The door person went out of the way to get a taxi when needed. The continental breakfast was included but included much more than the average continental breakfast. Other items were available for an extra charge. It is an easy walk to the theater district, shopping ansd many museums.

Room Tip: Ask for an inside room.

It was difficult to choose a hotel in New York, so many fantastic places to stay but I chose the London for the interiors, the size of the suites and the location. Jog in Cental Park in the morning, although the gym is also excellent, walk to MOMA for the exhibitions, order room service from Maze restaurant, great service and friendly staff. Would come back again.

Room Tip: Choose a suite with views of Central Park

The London NYC, the first thing I book when considering a trip to NYC. This hotel is world class and the service matches the world class feel. From the second you get out of the car you are welcomed by very friendly doormen who helped with the luggage. The front desk remembered us from last year and welcomed us back. We were placed in a London Suite on the 31st floor (3109.) This room had a great view and you could see parts of central park. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. The best part about this room, in my opinion, is their shower. 8ft long, 2 shower heads, and plenty of water pressure turn your bathroom into a steam room / shower. I apologize to The London for a higher than normal water bill for their next bill :) I cannot say enough about this hotel, the location, the staff, and the cleanliness. We will definitely be back and can't wait to reserve our hotel with The London NYC.
