“Excellent Show!!!!”
Reviewed 2 April 2013

Went to Tony and TIna's Wedding at MacGruder's in Lancaster NY on Broadway and this show is Hysterical! I laughed so hard I had to run out to the bathroom! It is an Interactive Play about an Italian Wedding and the audience dresses up like they are going to a Wedding and becomes part of the Play. Seating was tough at MacGruders too but the audience is allowed to get up and walk around and not just sit there! You are supposed to MINGLE with the actor/actresses and flirt and dance and play. The Italian Cast brings out all the emotions of Italians and what possibly could spoil a wedding, you will see there. Different Characters in every walk of life you will see there. The nun, the priest, the hooker, the fat lady, the gay man, etc. You know how uptight Italians get about spoiling the wedding?!! lol. Just join in and flirt and mingle, and play.....THIS IS YOUR SHOW AND YOU ARE IN IT....MAKE IT WHAT YOU WANT...YOU ARE NOW THE PERFORMER...You are not there for the food or to sit and watch----YOU ARE THERE FOR THE SHOW AND TO BE PART OF IT----SO MINGLE AND GET UP AND MOVE AROUND AND TALK TO PEOPLE AND TAKE PICTURES....,

“Not worth it”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

We went to see the show at Magiano's in Cherry Hill. We were in the back and could not really see what was going on. The food was absolutely gross. I don't see what everyone likes about that place the sauce is disgusting. The best part of the night was the oboxiously drunk lady at the next table.

“Just like 'being there'”

You are actually a 'member of the wedding'. Very humorous; outrageous sometimes!

“Avoid. Turned up and the show was cancelled”
Reviewed 30 July 2010

Booked tickets for the show a couple of weeks in advance and was hopeful that it wasn't going to be as bad as all the reviews!
However, we turned up at the door at opening time, with other guests who had tickets, to be greeted by a tattooed man sitting on the step smoking a cigarette who informed us that "sorry, the show's been cancelled until October". He then went on to say that he was the head chef at the theatre but i've no idea whether this was true, it didn't matter.
Upon return home I find that an email was sent at 5.10pm (when the show opening time was 6.45pm) stating that the show was cancelled. THAT IS A DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.
There was a poster in the venue window still advertising the show with a phone number to ring for tickets and also another couple that were disappointed upon arrival that we were talking to said that tickets had still been on sale that day.
So, if you've bought tickets for a show before October it doesn't look good and if you buy tickets for after October - can you be sure that it will still be on when you arrive?
