This is a really great apartment. The location in the West Village is great. It's a fairly quiet tree-lined street, there is some street noise, obviously, but the bedrooms are at the back and it was quiet enough. There are all the sorts of restaurants, shops and etc. right out your door that make it a great NY experience. It is a huge apartment for NYC, I would guess 1,000 sq ft (100 sq meters). There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so two couples could easily share this unit and have privacy. (We are a couple traveling with a grown child).
The only drawback:when we stayed there was a construction project next door, and it looks like this will be going on for a while. This didn't bother us because we were out sightseeing during the day, and the builders started about 9AM. However, if you want to stay in and write a novel or something, I would check with Lara about whether they have finished yet.

I rented this apartment last weekend as the celebratory end of a ten-day East Coast college tour with my youngest. We invited my older daughter and her boyfriend down from Providence to join us for the weekend, and there was AMPLE room for all of us - and probably a couple more!
Both bedrooms are huge by Manhattan standards and both are on the back side of the apartment, overlooking a leafy courtyard which was not super picturesque, but you do get fresh air and light and I woke every morning to bird song,- not typical for NYC - and so are SUPER quiet. The Master has an en suite bathroom with a shower, plus a door out to a small balcony. There's a second bathroom accessible through the main living area, with a shower over tub and some storage space. As others have mentioned, there is also a large, open living space with a great, fully stocked kitchen and lots of windows overlooking the lovely tree-lined street below. There's a queen sized pull-out couch there to accommodate more guests.
You do have to negotiate three flights of steep stairs with your luggage (no elevator) so anyone with mobility issues should beware. However, being on the top floor made the apartment really quiet as there is no one walking over your head at all hours. The building is small and very quiet - I think we only caught a glimpse of neighbors twice and never heard a peep out of them during our four days there.
The apartment is perfectly located for walking to NYU and The New School, and a 20 minute straight shot on the subway up to Columbia and Barnard. It is also on a fantastic block of a fun street - a couple blocks from the Stonewall Inn and Big Gay Ice Cream, with fantastic restaurants (hello, Buvette!) and boutiques all around. Lots of gay clubs in the area made walking home at night entertaining and absolutely delightful - we loved the happy, lively atmosphere on the street and it reminded us of home (San Francisco) but with that wonderful NY twist. We also loved that we were just a short walk from Chelsea Market, the High Line, the Meatpacking district, Washington Square Park, and all the interesting sights of lower Manhattan.
The owner, Lara, was really warm, helpful, and accommodating when our train was delayed two hours making us late checking in (thanks, Amtrak!). She even let us stash our luggage in the apartment for a few hours after we had officially checked out, so we didn't have to lug it around until our afternoon flight home. We will DEFINITELY be staying here whenever we come to New York in the future!

A fantastic apartment in Greenwich. Really spacious with 2 large bedrooms (1 ensuite), bathroom & large sitting room / kitchen area. We absolutely loved it especially when returning after a hard day's sightseeing! Contains everything you could need. Lara provides all the information you could want about the area. Only point to mention is that there are 2 floors of steep stairs to climb.

We really loved this delightful apartment. It is in a super location, close to the subway and buses with shops and restaurants nearby. Lara is charming - she was very welcoming and allowed us to stay on our last day as we had an evening flight. The apartment is light and spacious with fabulously comfortable beds. The kitchen/dining/living space is well laid out - enormous dining table useful for spreading out all our guide books and info! Wi-Fi always worked. Very well equipped and clean. I'm sure we would have sat out on the large quiet terrace had the weather been warmer! Great patisserie on the corner and a short walk to Murrays cheese shop/deli. Fab wine store on Hudson. I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment - it provided a wonderful home for our week in the city.

Two bathrooms - a big advantage . Lara was nice and friendly and showed flexibility regarding time of departure. It was a home away from home !

We are a family of 5. This apartment was perfect. Comfortable clean and felt like home. Lara was very friendly and helpful. Everything was as we expected but the apartment was much bigger. Gotta love that! In a great area with lots of fantastic restaurants around and the Subway just down the street. Would absolutely stay there again.

We could not fault this accommodation. The owner was more than helpful, the location was unbelievable - so close to shops, restaurants, public transport and every other practical thing you need when you're away - but also a fantastic part of NYC to be around. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. We loved it and would definitely go back.
