We held our annual sales retreat at the Knickerbocker Hotel with 50 guests, conference room for 5 days and a special networking event at the breathtaking St.Cloud rooftop. We could see from day one that the hotel service has a great quality, both because of its comfortable and appropriate facilities, as well as service and constant concern for our comfort. Thank you especially for being aware of our requirements and a special thank you to Jenny Thorne and Jodi Nasoff whom went above and beyond to make sure my team was taken care of, this event would not have been a success without their constant help and hospitality!
Your staff were a real credit to you - very attentive, polite and everything ran very smoothly. The room was a perfect size for the number of guests. Your waiting staff served the meal very efficiently and absolutely delicious. Everyone was well attended to by your bar staff and they were always on hand to ensure everyone's glass was always full.

I can say without any hesitation that we will be using your services again or recommending The Knickerbocker to all of my colleagues.

Again, Thank you!

If you are looking for a good four star property convenient to theaters and Times Square the Knick is a good choice. The rooms are well appointed but sparsely decorated although with updated finishes and amenities. There is nothing bad yet nothing outstanding about the hotel. If you require a two bed suite there are no views. The fitness center is very good. The rooftop bar is fun but expensive as is the Charley Palmer restaurant. The negatives-We were texted that our room was ready (we arrived early and had to check bags) so we rushed back to get our key and change so we could make a 3PM show. However the notification was in error as it was not ready. Also a large red stain was in our carpet and had been covered by a small side table.

Room tip: 2 bedroom suites have no views.

The rooms were not as lovely as the pictures on the website. There was one doorman that was very kind but way to busy for the traffic in and out of the hotel. Yet, as you walked in at one point there were 4 staff at the concierge desk chatting amongst themselves. The buffet breakfast that was $45.00 person was extremely overpriced and we couldn't manage to obtain a refill on our coffee. We also tried to obtain change to leave a cash tip. No cash at this restaurant. There were 3 of us in our room. Our registration stated this. We were given 2 bottles of water. I had to call twice for extra washcloths. There was also construction immediately outside the hotel and jack hammering started at 7 a.m. This should be noted on their website. Difficult to hail a cab out front. Location was great but will try somewhere else next time in Times Square.

Room tip: Premier City View were worth the extra cost.

travelmom28, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are so glad you enjoyed our great location and the views from your Premier room. However, please allow me to sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. We should have definitely been more attentive and thoughtful about refreshing your room and have shared your comments with our team accordingly so we can be more careful about this going forward. Should you graciously allow us the opportunity, we'd look forward to the chance to better ensure your satisfaction during your next visit to New York.

The Knickerbocker Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the world for good reason. It is located in Times Square near excellent restaurants and attractions. The Hotel décor is modern with good sized quiet rooms, an excellent restaurant and a roof top bar. The service from check in, to room deliveries to check out was fast and seamless. This hotel is a new favorite for our next visit to mid town New York City.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights at the end of march 2017. Absolutely amazing! Being a young couple we were wary that we would be underdressed in the evening but that wasn't the case at all. We felt like we fitted right in. The staff were amazing. the lift was spacious so loads of room for you and your suitcases. They had door staff that greeted you every time you returned to the hotel and held the doors open as you walked through. The hotel location is great. You can walk to anywhere you like. We needed our taxi voucher printing before we left for the airport and that was done for us very quickly. The bedroom and bathroom was lovely and clean. Bed and telly were huge. The pillows and bed were so comfy! Amazing lights and mirror. Also the room had air con and heating which was great. Felt completely safe at this hotel and yes you can hear Times Square but then you are in nyc so it's expected. The roof top bar was lovely with great views! This hotel is great for couples, families and business trips. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying at the knickerbocker the next time I visit New York!
