We enjoyed this apartment for a week, and although the location was very convenient, it was very quiet and peaceful. The place was in good state and nice & clean.
The apartment is spacious and very bright, in a luxury building with a lot of amenities and good market around the corner, there are plenty of places to eat close by with a wide variety of cuisines, 7 minutes walk to subway station and about the same to central park, a couple of minutes more to times square.
This spacious clean apartment in midtown Manhattan is very well located for a stay in New York. Walking distance to many of the highlights of New York. The apartment itself has all the modern conveniences required for a self contained stay in New York including very welcome air conditioning during our stay in a very warm New York. The owner is very accessible and responds to any queries promptly. Highly recommended!
We are just home after spending an amazing 7 nights in this beautiful apartment. We used it as our base to explore the fabulous city of New York and we weren't disappointed!! Our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The apartment itself had everything we needed and more. It was perfect and so was it's location. I'm looking forward to my next visit
We stayed here for a week on a recent trip to NYC. Communication with the owner was always quick, and they were very responsive to questions. They met us on the street and showed us around. It's not cheap, but it's a good value with a good location, easy walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, and Midtown, and about a five-minute walk from the nearest subway station.
It's a clean and comfortable 2-room apartment. There's a medium-sized bedroom with a queen bed and a larger room that's a living/dining room with a kitchen that opens into it across an island. It's fairly quiet by NYC standards.
The kitchen has modern appliances that all work, and it's got a small washer-dryer that was nice to have on a longer stay. Full-size fridge, cooktop, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Heating and cooling both worked well. It's got a nice view. The pictures on this listing are fairly representative of the unit, though most are stock photos and include shared areas. The bedroom is bigger than it looks in the picture, which was a nice surprise. I don't know the size, but it's not NYC-tiny. This would be a respectable sized one-bedroom apartment in any other major city. It was bigger than I expected based on prior NYC experience.
The fitness center is very nice, with lots of good, new equipment, group classes, and a 25-yard or 25-meter pool and a big hot tub. I'd say the average age in the gym and in the hallways was about 30-35.
There's a nice gourmet grocery store in the building, with NYC-level prices but no worse than anywhere else. It's got every grocery item you'll need for your stay, not just gourmet items. Open until midnight, I think.
There are a lot of restaurants -- I mean hundreds -- within about 10 minutes' walk. It's near the waterfront running/biking path, the Intrepid aircraft carrier/museum, and Circle Line Cruises. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in NYC.
The location is amazing and the apartment was supper clean and i love it. Also i recommend everyone that want to visit NYC book this apartment.
