“Believe the hype”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014

We had brunch here one Sunday in May 2014. Tiny little place in the west village with huge windows and loads of charm. We made reservations a few days in advance-had a 9:30 AM as a result. Food was delicious-pancakes, bangers, and a fantastic asparagus/potato hash. Fresh squeezed OJ was a bonus. Bill for two was ~$40. Would definitely return.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

Just had lunch with my husband at this gorgeous little corner restaurant. What an unexpected delight! We were greeted by a gorgeous staff member (Rachel) who sat us at a corner table right near the window. Yes the restaurant is small and yes the tables are close but who cares! I don't think the person next to us is interested in our conversation as we would with theirs. Service was impeccable and the food was excellent. Pity I'm not a local as I would frequent this little restaurant all the time.

“Ranked 13th !!! Is it worth it ???”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

The good reviews made us reserve at this bistro .Because of the size of this extremely small restaurant, all tables are inches apart, so forget about romance . Service is good but you can feel the urgency to take your order and get you out as soon as possible. The noise is at it's peak which makes it difficult for a conversation. The food is correct but to pricy for what the chef delivers. The washroom is a joke because of its size and almost impossible to move in . On the outside, lots of people are gathering to take pictures of this " Friends" house, which can be disturbing when your table is at the side window. Fortunately the neighborhood is interesting in Greenwich Village,Overall we were disappointed with the outcome and would definetely not rank it 13th over the 12000 restaurants of New York..

“Excellent and it's easier to get into for lunch!”

This place is so small and so good that evening reservations are impossible but weekday lunches are a little easier to book! Really enjoyed the eggs!

“Great little Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

Booked well in advance to secure a dinner reservation for four people.
Located in a leafy side street, were welcomed on arrival and service throughout excellent.
Duck salad starter was amazing with a well thought out dressing, sardine fillet starter also very good.Three of us has the whole sea bream special served with lobster risotto, lovely.
Sides were fantastic, stir fry Asparagus with a hint of chilli, and perfect fries.
Little Owl certainly well up there for a complete dining experience.
