You could easily walk past this place, as its exterior is pretty nondescript. Don't let that put you off, the use of old chintzy Chinese crockery in a Mexican restaurant adds to its charm. Food was amazing, easily could of tried everything on the menu lol. Service was friendly and welcoming. Great 80s playlist, which just added to its charm.

I took my Mexican boyfriend to this place and he confirmed the food is great! i like their tacos, the guacamole, the Sopa Azteca and the Plato Mexicano is a great option if you want to share and try many different flavors. they have good margarita - i usually take the lime one. be careful from the spicy margarita- its a killer (wayyyyy too spicy)

You will miss this hole-in-the-wall if you don't check the street number. There was not even a sign. It's just a tiny place. I am sooooo glad I didn't miss it! I think I had the best ever chicken mole enchiladas. They were swimming in mole. Even though the place is tiny and the service could be improved, I rated it excellent because of the quality of the food!

Went here for an evening meal, the hostess (the one with dark curly hair) was a nightmare she showed all her powers of who would and who would not get the table. Once this was sorted the food was great atmosphere was great and also the value for money not bad.

On the second night we had A new hostess and she was great charming even busy she managed to sort out the tables and made us and all the guest feel special.

You may miss it if you're not looking for it! Small restaurant in the middle of a lonely lower east side street, but definately worth the trip. We were a party of 7 and were lucky to get half of the big table in the center - the restaurant was packed and normally there would have been a long wait since there is limited seating.
The mole enchiladas were spectacular and the mojitos delicious! (this comes from a mole and mojitos aficionada).
If I had to find a negative point, I would say I was a bit disappointed the dish did not come with any sides, but the portion was very sizeable and very very tasty, so I'm not deducting stars! The service was also very good - pleasant, accurate, and fast.
