Owner description: There are a million things to experience in New York City, but there’s only one way to see them all at once. You can start by hopping a Sky Pod to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. There, 102 stories up, find yourself face-to-face with New York’s iconic skyline. Maybe you’ve seen views of the city before, but never quite like this. Walk the three sprawling levels of the Observatory and discover surprises along the way. Drop into the café and grab a bite to eat. Step onto the Sky Portal and stroll high above the crowded streets. Take an interactive guided tour of the city with the help of our Skyline Concierges, available to answer any questions you might have about New York’s long and storied history. And don’t leave without stopping by the One Mix bar for a glass of celebratory prosecco and one last look toward the horizon. See for yourself why One World Observatory is truly An Experience Above.
Useful Information: Food available for purchase, Bathroom facilities, Wheelchair access, Stairs / lift

Queues moved very quickly as did security. Views are absolutely spectacular and it really is a great place to visit however I find it poor that they hand you iPads to view the surrounding area. Once you or your children have them in your hand they tell you it’s $20 for a shot!! I said no thanks but the gentleman wouldn’t take my daughters back. Ridiculous given the cost to get it, they don’t even work and weigh a ton!

We make an annual trip to NYC on personal business. Bought "skip-the-line" tickets 2 years ago and both previous trips were "low cloud" events. Reception desk let us postpone until later date due to zero visibility. This year was perfect sunny day. We spent about 1-1/2 hours at the top just taking in the views in all directions and pointing out landmarks to each other. Off the elevator at the top, you watch a short film. When they gather you into a crowd in the next room, it is to try to get you to rent the Ipad for $15. If not interested, don't waste the 5 minutes and work your way through the crowd to the staircase that leads 1 flight down to the main observation deck. Elevators have a neat digital wall that shows a cool video on the way up and down. Enjoy.

In my opinion the entrance fee was too much for the views from behind the glass. The pictures taken were not perfect and had reflections from the glass.

This is somewhere you really need to visit, to see the great NYC landscape. The closest to the Shard in London i have see. Stunning.
