I have never been to a GF bakery before and was excited to try one in NYC. I walked in and was so overwhelmed with the choices, it is a joy to visit for anyone with a gluten or dairy issue (of which I have both).
I had wanted to try the other bakery in NYC that was entirely GF as Babycakes uses spelt flour which made me nervous. I did have a slight reaction later that day BUT, it could have been one of many things, I had drunk alcohol that day, plus eaten at another restaurant. Plus, I had 4 cakes! I overdosed on my first GF bakery visit!
I would go back, and I would encourage anyone who is a Celiac to go, just to feel normal and have all the choices :)
