Let's start with the obvious, the perfect location! Right on the Penn Station (from witch you can get anywhere...)
Very close to Times Square, right on the 7th Avenue (fashion Avenue), and close to the 5th too.
Next are the big Manhattan watching rooms. Ours was watching the medison square garden and the penn station. The room was big, very clean, equipped with a big screen TV including cables, Internet TV (netflix, hulu), a small refrigerator that was just enough for us, a perfect bathtub and two huge beds. The staff were perfectly nice, helpful and informative. Anything we needed they helped without any delay. The room was cleaned up and tidy every day and It was so nice to come back to every day. If you arrive earlier than check in time they provide a free storage for your luggage, and the same if you check out before you leave the city. Also included is a very big jim that we did not try
The price we paid was more than worthy.

In short: perfect location, perfect room, perfect staff

You'll enjoy every minute!

The room was nice, but I couldn’t get much sleep at night with the constant noise from the streets below and construction nearby. Even though our room was 19 floors up, it sounded like we’re on the ground floor. The all night drilling and jackhammering kept me all night, in addition to sirens, car engines etc.

Located a block away from a major mid town transportation center, Penn Station. The area is bit touristy but very convenient to mid town attractions and subways.

We were meeting friends for dinner in the city and I didn’t want to drive home to NJ after dinner. So we booked a room for Saturday night and given my Marriot status, we received a free upgrade to a room with a terrace. The terrace was as large as the room with outdoor cushioned furniture. The room was new and clean and the bathroom had an overhead and hand held shower.

We also took advantage of the bar in the lobby where the service was very good with real bartenders who knew how to make very good cosmos.

The only challenge was the elevators which were slow and took a while to understand how to use. I used the valet which worked out well but was pricey at $60 a day.

In town on work trip, had to make calls from landline while in room. Made conference horrible. Room service food below expectations. Spring Rolls were nasty and cold.. location is great, but for $500 a night, pick another location.

This is the second time staying in this hotel and in general it was ok, but in the second night we were in the bed and out of sudden someone tried to open our room and luckily we blocked the door so it was not open.. we called reception to complain since we were worried that someone was able to open our room; after 10 minutes they called and said that one employee was moving guest room to other and opened ours by mistake. We believed that this mistake is not acceptable and also reception should call us to explain instant waiting for us to complain.
Very unfortunate accident.
