Stayed here for one week in march,we had a junior suit , first impression not bad for the money, good location, muffins and coffee in the morning a nice touch.some staff very friendly others not so much as a smile.the problem we had was that we hardly had any sleep, the radiators made the most awful noise all night, sounded like some one was hitting them with a hammer in our room it went on all night getting louder and louder then it would stop for an hour or two then start up again, they would also hiss so bad that it sounded like they were going to explode.the room was so hot ,we couldn't turn the radiators off so we had to leave the windows open 24 hours a day so we then had the outside noise of traffic like police sirens, horns ect .it was nothing more than a complete nightmare,we complained to the front desk to be told that they knew they had a problem as other guest had complained,it completely spoilt the holiday because we were so over tired from lack of sleep we didn't have the energy to do much ,one day we just spent the day in bed trying to get some sleep,

Fab hotel, couldn't ask for more. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. Central to attractions. Can't wait to go back. Only thing I would say is I think it would be a good idea for tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Saying that plenty of coffee shops around so not a massive issue !

Visiting and touring NY was a first for me and my family and it was an "AWESOME" experience! The Wolcott Hotel came highly recommended from a friend and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect for us and the hotel is "BEAUTIFUL" in my opinion and satisfied our every need. The staff was very courteous and helpful! The rooms, although kinda small from what we're accustomed to in Texas where everything is big, were quite nice also and had all the amenities of home. I will definitely stay here again and will always highly recommended this local to friends/family visiting NY.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 12th floor and it was GREAT!!!! No complaints what so ever from me and my family o...

Handily-located at corner of 5th Ave, just around the corner from the Empire State, 10 mts walk Times Square. Impressive lobby and helpful staff. My room was at the back with no view but was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Room Tip: See if you can get a room at the front to get a view over Manhattan

This hotel is in an excellent location close to Macys, Time Square Empire State Building.
The room was at the back of the hotel & our view was the back of another building but we weren't there for the view & it was quiet so we had a good night sleep. Hotel offers tea/coffee & muffins in the morning. Staff were all friendly & very helpful. Our flight wasn't till 11:30pm but they stored our suitcases & then when we got back to the hotel gave us a guest bathroom to shower before we got the shuttle to the airport.
You must do the sightseeing tour bus for hop on & off for all the sites - great value & bought from the tour operator on the street you see them everywhere & got a better deal than what the hotel offered. Would definitely stay again for location & value for money.
