Another wonderful stay at this well placed hotel. Rooms are always clean and filled with natural light. Comfortable bed and furniture. Plenty of space for suit cases and wardrobe hanging space. Staff are always professional, kind and willing to help. Guest laundry is clean and efficient. I love the area as it's out of the busy paced downtown; it's filled with locals which means great cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. As it's so close to Central Park a morning walk is a must. I will return many times to this wonderful property.

We booked a room because we went to a concert in the Beacon theater and didn't want to rush home. The Beacon always makes us feel special and we make it part of the concert experience; that makes it better. I strongly recommend to anyone, spend at least one night in the Beacon and you will never experience anything like it. Can't wait to return.

A good quality hotel, at walking distance from the Lincoln Center, surronded by plenty of good restaurantes. Ideal if you like performing arts and plan to attend pderformances at the Lincoln Center. Very quiet, especially the inner court rooms. Quite close to the Central Park too.

Our first trip to New York was a great experience. The hotel was in a perfect location and easily accessible to all famous places. Room was clean, did look bigger in the pictures. Bathroom was old fashioned could of done with updating. But the room was well equipped for our stay.

We came to NYC last month, visiting family. It was a first time visit for one of us, and the Hotel Beacon was absolutely wonderful! We had a double double room on the 14th floor, looking toward the east. We could see beautiful sunrises in the morning from our window, and the rooms were quiet... we never heard any of our neighbors! The kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We had stopped at Fairway Market (across the street from the hotel) on our first day, and loaded up on breakfast items and snacks, and it worked out perfectly for the four nights we stayed!

The room was large enough to accommodate our group, with plenty of space to unpack and store our items. The bathroom was fine, with a good shower. The front desk staff and concierge were always friendly and very helpful!

We loved the neighborhood! After touring the NYC sites and battling with the crowds, it was so nice to hop on the express subway from Times Square and have our next stop be 72nd Street, which was only a couple of blocks from the hotel entrance. This area had a very family friendly, neighborhood feel. We were within walking distance to the Museum of Natural History and Central Park. We also could walk 10 blocks or take the local train 1 stop to the Lincoln Center area, which is also very pretty with many cafe's and various stores and boutiques for shopping.

We did stop by the Beacon Bar for happy hour, and the specials were very reasonable. There is a nice wine store past the theater which also had some good sales going on and wine tastings each afternoon.

Overall, I think I have found my go to hotel for future visits to this amazing city! Thank you Beacon hotel for your hospitality!

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms face east, odd numbered rooms face Broadway and the Hudson River.
