You can't beat the location if you want to be near Time Square or in the middle of mid-town. The lobby was modern, although a bit on the dim side, and the staff was friendly. Really cool column fish tanks. But the elevator is slow, as others have commented. The room was very square, with a desk on one end, the bed on the other, and just a wide unused space in between. There were no closets, so there was a short rack with hangers and ironing board next to the bed. There was a nice Bose clock radio which was already on and playing music.
The bed was comfortable, and plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a little tight to get around the door, and the short shelf above the sink was slightly tilted forward, so a few toiletries slid into the sink. There were more than enough towels. Slight issue with a very slow drain, where I got probably an inch of water built up by the end of my shower. Dated shower head (the old Speakman kind), but there was a modern shower handle with temperature in degrees F, which was great.
Overall, it was a good place to stay at for being within walking distance to my client's office. And it would be a great place for travelers to call home base, being in the heart of Time Square.More
