Great value. Location was perfect...close to everything in Times Square. Room was clean and good sized for 4. Staff was courteous and our bell cap, Ron, was extremely helpful. Plan to stay here again next trip.

This property is undergoing renovation. Overall it was acceptable but it was quite average and in our deluxe King suite, the bathroom floor had a 1 inch step up at the door entry without any kind of transition strip so both my wife and I stubbed our foot using the restroom at night. Most of the help was well trained and respectful except the gentlemen who was at the "theatre desk" who gave us the incorrect name of the theatre and location of our Broadway Show. He acted put out when we explained that we had already purchased tickets elsewhere and we just needed directions. The linens and mattress were superior. If you are paying for a room with a view, don't accept room #1 on any floor as it overlooks 52nd st and you don't get much of a view. The shower fixture worked well but the sink faucet was missing the cover on the handle and the handles were plumbed reverse (maybe they do it that way in NYC?). We paid under four hundred which for TS is below market but we don't feel like we in any sense found a "bargain."

The hotel has an excellent location, about a minute walk to Times Square. There is a nice breakfast bar in the hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. One downside - the décor of the hotel is a bit dated and it could do with some renovations / modernization.

I stayed at this hotel when in town working the Super Bowl. The room was nice and clean. Not the most modern, but very good value for Times Square. The beds were very clean and confortable. The television was a flat screen and got many good chanels. The desk was decent at best, but served it's purpose. The view out of the window was great, being on a high floor. Breakfast was not free and very overpriced. The front desk was cluttered and not very helpful. For some reason the bar area was closed and curtained off. My major complaint was this, I was working an overnight shift and in 10 days time, my room was never once cleaned. I had to search on my own for towels and toilet paper. I even aslked the front desk multiple times to send someone up after 5PM to clean my room. BUT, the price was right and location was PHENOMINAL. I will stay here again when the opportunity arises, and hopefully I will not be on a night shift.

We found an unexpected deal online and booked a double room for two adults and two children for an overnight visit. The deal was already a great price but also offered the option to request an upgrade to a suite if available at check-in. We were a little worried as we usually stay at boutique hotels when we travel as a couple and knew that this was a NY "tourist" hotel but it is almost impossible to find a boutique hotel or none tourist hotel that has the availability for teenagers to share the parents room without spending a fortune.

I must say that upon check in we were pleasantly surprised by the availability of an upgrade at a very minimal cost. Check-in was a hassle. Very long lines and only one person working the counter. We checked in, got our upgrade and then had to wait through the same long line with limited staff a second time after our room was ready. However, the hotel did redeem itself with the upgrade! Our room had a separate bedroom/full bath, a dining area/kitchen, and a living area with pullout bed that also had a half bath!!!!! We had extremely large windows with three outside walls that all had great views including Times Square. It was clean but really needs an exhaust fan in the bathroom as the ceiling was actually dripping water from the humidity. This room was on the 16th floor and very quiet. Service and amenities were lacking but it was centrally located and we loved the large room. Just realize that it is a tourist hotel, go to breakfast at McDonalds or Starbucks which are both very close, and it's a great location to just enjoy NY. For the price and space, we would stay here again with the family.

This Hotel is located a few blocks away from the Central Park, 5th Ave, and Times Square. There are subway stations, restaurants, and the Broadway shows right next to it.
The interiors seems old, the rooms are small, but the bed and sheets are clean and comfortable.
I think it is a bit over priced
