Based on photos and the overall rating, I booked a room here for several nights, but the photos paint a far rosier view of this hotel than reality. I’ve never been so disappointed in a New York hotel, and I wish I had read the other reviews more carefully. The rooms are small even by NYC standards, tired, and dirty. (There was spackle visible on the walls, a noisy old AC window unit, dinged and chipped furniture, etc.) The pillows were thin and hard. The staff was nice when I checked in, but couldn’t make up for the shabby nature of this hotel. I was really stunned. The hotel would be better off posting realistic photos so that travelers’ could match their expectations to the reality of this downtrodden building.

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst family got married in NYC. It was in a great location easy to get to subway to get to midtown etc and a really nice area. When we arrived there was lots of building work going on outside the entrance but once in you don’t realise anything is going on. Our hotel room was modern and quite large, with aircon. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast, but hey that’s not what we were there for! There is an AMAZING Mexican a few streets away called toloache. Would defo recommend!

The rooms are very small and the staff not very helpful. Nice little breakfast but for the price you can get a better room in New York. No parking on site. Small lobby. Not a great location and very small bathroom.

Great location to museum mile and subway. Very clean but tired fixtures and decor. WiFi almost Non existent, however there is free WiFi in many close by cafes. Wholefoods and Eli Bakery on close corners. We received upgrade to larger room buy booking directly with hotel.
