The hotel is a great location. It has an Italian charm in mid-town Manhatten. The staff is very accommodating Joseph at the front desk was very nice and our room was beyond perfect. We purchased the summer escape package which has a welcome cocktail and a 50.00 food credit. The lobby restaurant food was good.
We would recommend this package.

The rooms are spacious and beautiful, best in NYC! The Midtown location is perfect, near red & blue subways and Times Square. I've stayed here many times and the guests are treated like royalty. I'll be back!

Room Tip: Service is impeccable

Beautiful atmosphere- romantic and swanky. Great welcoming staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting an upscale stay. For those people looking for a special night, this place is it! My fiancé proposed!

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad room!

This trip was for fun with adult family. Centrally located close to good restaurants and the theatre district. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner had a hard time cooling the room so was a little warm. Bathroom was clean but old fashioned. Last night was disappointing no evening turn down, mini bar was sealed requiring it be reopened. Felt like they were happy expedite your check out next day. Staff was friendly but not outstanding. Have stayed here before on business. Will not consider staying at the Michelangelo again for pleasure. Few facilities.

We have always love this place. Especially the coffee and espresso. Cappuccino etc that served on the lobby and the great bar service at the end of the day. Why they changed that is beyond me. Dumb dumb dumb!

This hotel is perfectly located of a sight seeing visit to NY. Lovely comfortable rooms and helpful staff. It is just such a pity that one poor management decision means that everyday starts with a disappointment...breakfast! The service included in room rates is under resourced in terms of the space allocated (a small windowless basement with insufficient seating/ tables), staff allocated (one poor guy run ragged struggling to keep everything topped up so guests are constantly having to wait for refills of everything), content (mainly rather dry scones and muffins with insufficient croissant and Danish pastries disappearing within minutes of a refill) and time (served in theory 7-9 but at 8.50 they begin to clear away and the door is locked at 9 exactly to stop anyone sneaking in late, a policy more in keeping with a youth hostel than a hotel of this calibre!).
