Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the proximity to the Beacon Theatre and several of New Yorks best museums and restaurants too numerous to mention. The staff were welcoming and personable and great concierge. I will go back. Restaurant next door was excellent also.

February in ice-cold NYC, what a great way to spend a holiday while based a block away from the museum of natural history, Central Park with its snow ladden fields and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Great hotel, charm and excellent service, with an excellent adjacent restaurant. Cańt beat price/value/comfort. If worried about noise, just ask for a quiet room!

I stayed at the Lucerne March 2-6 while I was in NYC for a conference at Columbia University. It's just lovely! It's tucked away in what seems like a residential area, with easy access to awesome restaurants, the subway and some excellent shopping. It's only a few subway stops to some of the main attractions (Times Square, etc). It's an excellent value for what they offer.

Stayed here with two girlfriends for one night at the end of February. The location was great and the hotel had great charm. The rooms were very clean and actually much larger than I expected. There was a seperate sitting area with a love seat, desk, and 2nd TV. The only bad thing was the noise. We were located right outside of the elevator, so I'm not sure if that was the reason or if the walls are just that thin, but you could hear everyone who walked down the hallway.

Never stayed away from Times Square before but this boutique hotel was reasonably priced, with clean rooms and good bathroom (excellent water pressure!!!), and a block away from the subway. Would definitely stay here again!

Colleagues from my firm had recommended this hotel to me and I was not disappointed. Wonderful location for my needs (access to mid-town Manhattan and Times Square), this hotel was clean, comfortable and provided superior service for the price. I felt safe and welcome there and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC for business or pleasure.
Very good value given the level of service on offer.

My son had an audition with Manhattan School of Music and this hotel was recommended. They were kind enough to store our luggage after checkout so that he could audition, hVe dinner, then come and get the luggage and head home. Quiet, clean, quite nice for the price - the staff is sweet and friendly.
